Additionally, each question also has a number and letter before the question text. The number represents the subject matter the test question is asking about i.e. Place Value. ii. The letter represents the level the question is testing the student on. a. A = lower than student's grade level b. B = on student's grade level c. C = above student's grade level Example: If a student takes a fourth grade Comprehensive Pretest and he missed a problem with “A3” in front of the test question. Then it is likely the student is low in their understanding of Place Value. This reveals to the parent or instructor the areas that instruction would be needed. EVERY STUDENT BEGINS PRACTICE WORK ON PHASE ONE NO MATTER WHAT GRADE THEY ARE IN!!! |
